I decided to start documenting the people I meet wearing Converse and their connection to the brand. Quite simply why they wear them. Some have deep meaningful quotes. Others don't have much to say, but they all have an individual story.

Julisa Washington Heights I wear Converse because they are pretty and comfortable. My favorite color are hot pink. I was attracted to Converse because they looked funky and colorful.  They are excepted in Washington Heights now because people are becoming less stereotypically hip hop and more open-minded to.
